Hello, my name is Tim Smith back in 1990 and due to redundancy, I started my own business AEC Building Services from humble beginnings.
Over the years it's been hard work and sheer determination to provide friendly quality-driven home improvement and building works to our customers across Chesterfield & surrounding areas. Twenty-seven years or so later I'm still providing that same quality of service, so I suppose we must be doing something right.
Predominantly now we undertake the manufacture of bespoke kitchens, garage conversions, and bathroom refurbishments. General building work is also undertaken, we can even accommodate all your wall tiling, bespoke joinery work and much more for an all-in-one home improvement service.

PRICING POLICY
It’s not just in Chesterfield we provide a general building service.
As a general builder based in Chesterfield and centre to Dronfield, Matlock, Bakewell, and Bolsover. We are ideally situated to accommodate your general building requirements.
Our pricing policy is the same as all the areas we cover.
We don’t increase our prices to you if you live outside the Chesterfield area. Where ever you live, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Matlock, Bakewell, and Bolsover you are local to us.
What is our pricing policy?
Wherever possible prices are agreed in advance of work being carried out. Alternatively, we offer competitive day work rates for smaller general building work.
Our quotation or estimates are prepared from either the drawings and specifications prepared by the clients' architect or alternatively we can take a client overall brief and produce a quotation against which individual prices will be allocated.

General building work is a broad spectrum term and can mean absolutely anything when it comes to building work or buildings. Being general builders, AEC Building Services can accommodate new building work or building repair work.
